I enjoy occasionally bar hopping on Main St like we all do in the summer! My husband and I were so excited to check this place out on our weekend to the Cape After being seated promptly in the beautiful dining room complete with live jazz musicour waitress was there to guide us through our first tapas experience.
Reading the menu is enough to get your mouth watering They were all so delicious and beautiful! Our server was knowledgeable and very attentive, answered all our questions and put real thought into her answers when we asked for recommendations for the tapas and martinis they have several ature martinis that all sound incredible!
The jazz music during dinner created a fantastic ambiance for my "date night" which made it extra romantic! But it didn't spoil the mood when it started to get busy, we actually met some locals and had a blast with them! Not only was it a great place for a date, but a really awesome social spotlight to meet others and have a great time!
Arriving for an early dinner, we dined outside, in front of the restaurant. It seemed as if all of the other customers were under 25, and they were loud.
Can't blame the restaurant for this, but it does appear to target a young, nightclub type of crowd. The service was slow, and after we received two decent cold plates, we sat there for 20 minutes, while our hot plates were accidentally delivered to other tables, where they were quickly devoured.
A manager came by, and we told her what happened. She looked angry and walked away, while we sat another five minutes, then were told lied to by our waitress that they were intentionally spacing out the hot plates from the cold ones. The problem with tapas, as we've discovered elsewhere, is that with more plates, you have a need for more quality control and a higher chance for things to go wrong. Not worth the long trip from Brewster to Hyannis via south Cape, which has seen its better days and has become somewhat blighted.
Unless you're fresh out of college or have a high tolerance for dinginess, stay on Cape Rt 6A and avoid Rt. Ten ladies had a great time going for martinis in the evening after sightseeing Cougar women Barnstable Town Massachusetts dinner. Tapas menu looked great but we went for drinks. Feels very metropolitan and like NYC night spots for a town such as Hyannis. Only complaint was a cover charge at the door which he reduced since there were 10 of us. Rather young crowd and although we are not "young" we had a great time.
Drinks were pricey but very good. Would like to go back and eat if we visit Hyannis again. This place was amazing and I will go back every time I am in the area. Martinis are great and they give you the shaker if there is extra left. I got vegetable spring rolls and coconut shrimp Both amazing.
Even their Caesar salad house dressing is out of this world.
